At Parco Frassanelle, spend a day in close contact with nature and animals — because THE TRANSHUMANCE is back!
The sheep and lambs are returning!
After spending the summer grazing in the Alpine pastures, they’re coming home before the long winter.
Come and welcome them back to Parco Frassanelle — become a shepherd for a day!
Learn all about these gentle, essential animals.
Children will be able to enter the pen, pet the animals, feed them, and even walk with them across the park meadows.

🎭 InColli Tour Show presents its Mystery Show Tour!

🕐 Please note: Activities with the shepherds do not have fixed times, while the Mystery Show Tour has one session only at 10:30 AM.
🌾 AFTERNOON PROGRAMME — “THE TRANSHUMANCE”
From 2:00 PM onwards
🎋 Join in the traditional fun of removing corn husks (“el scartosso dea panocia”)
🌾 Then help create the “shepherd’s straw doll” using the collected husks
🏆 At 3:00 PM, take part in the lively Corn-Husking Contest!

Throughout the day, you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of the Park, the Caves, and the Villa —
and don’t miss our Haystack Dives!
Children can join the animal pen, become shepherds for a day, and receive their very own

🐴 1) PONY ACTIVITY
🕚 From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Organized by Centro Ippico La Grande Bellezza
Experience the “Baptism of the Saddle” on ponies — with games and an introductory theory session.
💰 Extra cost: €10 per child (in addition to park entry)
👧 Suitable for children aged 3 to 12 years

🎨 2) PAINTING WORKSHOP (ongoing)
Hosted by the “Sorseggiare la Pittura” Association
Create your own artwork on river stones, cardboard, or canvas — all materials provided!
🎨 Open to all ages, continuous enrollment throughout the day.
