One of the most beloved events of the season is back — the Air Festival!

The sky above Parco Frassanelle will fill with color and wonder as two magnificent hot air balloons rise above the park’s meadows, giving everyone the thrill of feeling light and free.

It will be a special day to share with family and friends — full of experiences, creative workshops, and breathtaking views, all surrounded by the magic of autumn.

🌤 The thrill of flight

Starting at 1:00 PM, you can watch the fascinating process of inflating the hot air balloons, an engaging spectacle that involves the audience at every stage.
Then, from 2:00 PM, it will be possible to take part in tethered balloon flights — a safe and exciting experience to admire the beauty of the park and the Euganean Hills from above.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: Tethered flights will only take place if weather conditions are favorable, and solely at the pilots’ discretion.

✂ Workshops and creative activities

Throughout the day, you’ll find a variety of activities designed to entertain both adults and children.

Join the mini hot air balloon workshop, using recycled materials to learn the value of conscious reuse while having fun. There will also be outdoor games, small airplane-building labs, and creative drawing with straws.

You can also take part in art and craft workshops, where you’ll paint your own artwork on canvas, river stones, or terracotta pots — and take it home as a keepsake of the day.

🏰 Nature and guided visits

As in every Frassanelle event, there will be plenty of opportunities to explore the estate in all its beauty.

Join guided tours of the Park, the Caves, and the Villa at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM (reservation required), or wander freely among 70 hectares of greenery, artificial grottos, and scenic walking paths.
