Andrea Di Pietro, renamed Palladio was a man of humble origins. Born in 1508 the son of Paduan miller, Palladio started his apprenticeship as a stone mason, and then enrolled with the guild of masons. A lucky meeting with the noble patron of the arts Giangiorgio Trissino in1535 marked the beginning of his career as architect of the perfect Villa in Veneto. Thanks to the protection and training of his patron, he could travel throughout Italy and was particularly impressed by the grandeur of the classical Roman monuments, whose proportions and symmetries serve as model and inspiration for his ideal villa in Veneto.

The characteristics of the Palladian villa in Veneto is, besides the classical proportions, the functionality and the harmonious relationship with the environment. The Veneto is rich with Palladian villas which combine the practicality of the spaces allocated to agriculture with the ornamental grace of living areas. The most important villas by Palladio are situated in the Veneto, near our villa veneto apartments, and a visit cannot be missed.
