From this year and only for our guests, Frassanelle offers free tours in the grottoes and around its natural park in Veneto led by the falconry company Alantica, which will allow guests to discover one of the most charming natural parks in the Veneto, a unique and exciting experience for both children and adults! Antonella will be your guide, she speaks perfect English.
Every Monday morning, at 9.30am in the summer and 10am in winter, our guests can take part in free guided tours, lasting about two hours. During the excursion you will get to know the history of the park and the noble Papafava family, visit the grottoes and learn how to approach birds of prey, also experiencing how it feels to hold a hawk on the harm. If the weather is wet, the visit will be replaced by a falconry lesson that will be held in the office of Alantica at 10am.

The falconers of Alantica, qualified at the only Professional School in Marostica, recognised in Italy and the rest of Europe, have recently set up office in Frassanelle and it is here that they organise tours with falcons in one of the most interesting natural parks in Veneto in terms of flora and fauna. In addition to the tours there are special falconry courses created for those who want to get closer to the world of raptors, the courses give in-depth knowledge of the characteristics, habits and feeding habits of the birds of prey.
