For the first time in Frassanelle extraordinary historical commemoration of the Great War with the Association Uniti nella Memoria Rovolon in collaboration with the Historical Researchers IV Novembre Schio.
During the day open bar and food by RUBINI with typical seasonal dishes: Pasta and Beans, Polenta Piave and Mushrooms, Vin Brulè and other hot delicacies. Reservations sms or whatsapp 339 8115052.

Sunday November 6th 2016 – Programme:
From 10:00 to 18:00 – Opening of the Exhibition «Novello Papafava, guy of ‘99» with guided tours
- Historical reenactment of the Great War through the paths of our Park
- Exhibit and tasting of typical products of our territory
- Photo exhibiotn by Anna Maria Montemezzo “I’ll tell you a story”. An iconographical itinerary through the rural history of the town Rovolon.
At 16:00 – Concert by the music band S.Michele of Montemerlo
Detailed programme historical reenactment:
The reenactment will develop through a ring tour starting from the Farmhouse and following the path that leads to the golf course and then deviates to the trail that takes to the villa and finally from the villa staircase back to the start. Along the itinerary some emplacements will be recreated: an italian front rear with a camp hospital, Command camp, a first line with a foxhole and lookout post, and an austrian first line. The emplacements will be animated by the reenactors of the associations Uniti nella Memoria and IV Novembre.
During the reenactment you will observe some representations of military daily life (life in the camp, trainings, activities in the foxholes, medical activity in the hospital) and explanations on the soldiers’ life. In order to involve visitors in a realistic atmosphere seven instructive events will be displayed, divided as follows:
Event 1: Raising of the flag with honor picket and trumpet ring (at about 9:45)
Event 2: Rations dispatch to the emplacements, with trumpet ring (at about 12:30)
Event 3: Lunch at the official command post. (at about 13:00)
Event 4: Lowering of the flag with honor picket and trumpet ring. (at about 15:45)
